Attorney Bios

Allegra Knopf is an attorney with over 20 years of experience, much of it related to real estate, title, lending and creditor litigation. Prior to joining the Zaretsky Law Group, Ms. Knopf represented institutional lenders and servicers in foreclosure, title, contract, regulatory, lending and real estate litigation. She has extensive title examination experience and experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions. She represents buyers, sellers, creditors, debtors, lenders, landlords, tenants and corporations in transactions and in civil litigation.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Knopf has first chaired hundreds of trials and handled an array of real estate closings. She has also represented clients at the appellate level. Ms. Knopf is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is admitted to the Northern and Southern United States District Courts of Appeal.

Ms. Knopf graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000, earning the Book Award for Legal Research and Honors in Appellate Advocacy. Prior to private practice, Ms. Knopf honed her trial and courtroom skills as an advocate for the State of Florida and for children as a child welfare attorney. She is an aggressive advocate for her clients.

Ms. Knopf enjoys serving her community as a certified election worker and encourages everyone who is eligible to vote to exercise their right to vote. She is also an avid equestrian who enjoys hunters, jumpers and the tradition of riding to hounds.
